There are countless workouts that you can do out-of-doors; a breath of fresh air is always a good idea. Look for a yoga class in a park near you, or take a run throughout your city to discover some new sights as you get sweaty. If you have kids, take them to the playground and let them play as you work. Moves to try include pull-ups on the monkey bars (if you’re not quite there yet, just do the monkey bars like normal); pike-ups on the swings (place your hands on the ground, your feet on the swing, and then draw your feet towards your body so that your hips pike up—these are harder than they seem); and lunges (along the curb for an extra challenge to your balance). Get creative and figure out some workout moves to do with your surroundings no matter where you are.
